About Us

Established in 1989, PUMC Preschool is a proud member of the Powell community and licensed by the State of Ohio. Our dedicated and experienced staff genuinely love working with young children, contributing to a warm and nurturing environment where your child will thrive. All staff are current in CPR including use of an onsite AED, First Aid, Communicable Disease, and Child Abuse training.

Our research-based curriculum recognizes that preschoolers learn best through play. Through engaging games, hands-on experiments, and creative activities, we prepare your child for kindergarten success. We also understand the importance of a healthy and inclusive environment, maintaining a peanut-free facility and ensuring children are only released to authorized individuals. We find that for many, this is the first time a child may be left in someone else’s care, and our staff is well-versed in helping with this transition for both parent and child.

2 year old’s – 1 day per week 2 1/2 hrs./day

3 year old’s – 2 days or 3 days per week 2 1/2 hrs./day

4/5 year old’s – 3 days or 4 days per week 2 1/2 hrs./day

Kindergartners – Every Tuesday or Thursday, and Every other Wednesday 4 hrs./day
