Kindergarten Enrichment
Olentangy Kindergarten students benefit from a unique opportunity to reinforce Kindergarten skills throughout the academic year. This opportunity provides time to enhance grade level skills, in the areas of math, language arts, early literacy, science, social studies, art and gross motor activities. Students continue to gain confidence during their first year of elementary school and build social skills.

Students bring NUT FREE lunch
Math Activities: We reinforce kindergarten math standards by teaching word problems, addition & subtraction, and counting by 2s, 5s, 10s, and 100s.
Literacy Development: We reinforce kindergarten literacy standards by teaching phonemic awareness, letter recognition and formation, sight word recognition, and creative story writing.
STEAM/Social Studies: Engage children in the engineering design process that includes concepts such as brainstorming, designing, building, analyzing and sharing.
Art Activities: Incorporate weekly art activities that allow for creative expression using a variety of media. We teach a variety of art techniques by exposing them to artists throughout the world.
