Meet Our Staff

Linda has been part of our preschool staff since 1990. After teaching in all of the age levels, she was hired as the director in 2013. Through the years, Linda has enjoyed getting to know all of the families and children entering the preschool doors. On occasion you can still find her in the classrooms. West Virginia is where Linda was born and raised. She graduated from Fairmont State College with a bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. In 1972, she married her childhood sweetheart, Doc Joe. They had 4 children and 8 grandchildren that live in Ohio and California. Her grandchildren are her faves and she loves supporting them in all of their high school, college and job activities.

My name is Lori Parfenchuk and I have worked for PUMC Preschool for 24 years, in the office for 22 and in the 2 day 3's classroom for 14. My husband Rick and I have been married for 40 years and share 2 children. Powell has been our home for the last 28 years. I enjoy singing in the choir of Powell United Methodist Church where we have been members for 27 years.

My name is Martha Cornett. I taught at PUMC Preschool for 11 years with both the two and four year olds. I left the preschool to go back to work full time in Finance. I retired from my full time job at the end of 2023 but wanted to work part time. I was thrilled to see an opening at the preschool and am so excited to be back teaching. My husband Mike and I have been married for 36 years and have two children and a rescued French Bull dog. We have lived in Powell for 31 years. I have been a member of Powell United Methodist Church for 30 years. In my free time I enjoy running, paddle boarding, reading and going on adventures with my husband.

My name is Julie Fenstermaker and I have worked for PUMC Preschool for 3 years as a 2's teacher. My husband, Todd, and I have been married for 25 years. We have 2 young adult children and live in southern Delaware county. I have been a member of Powell United Methodist Church for over 23 years. I enjoy spending time outdoors picnicking and taking walks with friends and family.

Heidi K is in her 11th year at PUMC Preschool. She teaches both the 2- and 3-year-old programs in the Rainbow Room. Mrs. K has a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and lives in Powell with her husband. Together they have a 19-year old daughter and a 17-year old son. Mrs. K enjoys pickleball, volleyball, reading, playing cards and board games, and anything with family/friends. She loves working with children, helping them grow, and watching them explore their way to reaching their precious milestones!

My name is Kristin Silverman and I have been a teacher at PUMC Preschool for 4 years. I currently reside in Dublin with my husband, 17-year-old daughter and 13- year-old twin boys. In my spare time, I enjoy crafting, traveling and watching my kids play sports (synchronized swimming, baseball, soccer and basketball).

My name is Yo Colatruglio (yes, Yo is my legal name. ) This will be the start of my third year at PUMC and I have found my happy place in the 3’s classroom! I have lived in Powell for 24 years with my husband, whom I have admired and adored for 38 years. We have two grown children living down the street from us in Delaware, & another one is away at school in Cincinnati. Despite being empty nesters, our house is rarely quiet thanks to two rambunctious dogs and our children bringing over our “grand dogs (&cats)" to run and play on our 6 acres.

Jenny McCutcheon lives in Powell with her husband Kirk, 9th grade sports loving son, Jacob, and their goofy little Boston Terrier, Cody. Her oldest son, Robbie, is attending his junior year at The Ohio State University where he plays the trumpet in the marching band. Jenny enjoys being outside, spending time with family and most of all – cheering on her children from the audience or sidelines while watching them perform musically and athletically. Jenny is entering her 3rd year of teaching 3-day 3s for PUMC Preschool and has been a member of Powell United Methodist Church for 19 years.

My name is Tiffany Milligan and this is my first year with PUMC Preschool. During the pandemic, I left a 15 year career in finance and have enjoyed the last few years as a stay at home. I began working in the church nursery almost a year ago and decided to continue my passion of working with children through the preschool. My husband and I have been married for 5 years and have 2 children. I have lived in the Powell area for 14 years. In my spare time I enjoy reading a good mystery and exercising.

My name is Michelle Ramsey and I have been working at PUMC Preschool for eleven years.I love working with the 4/5's and love my preschool family. I have lived in Powell for 30 years with my husband, Greg. We have two grown children who also went to preschool at PUMC when they were 4/5 years old. My son now lives in Brooklyn and my daughter is in Charlotte. We enjoy traveling to go see them. In my free time I love spending time with my family and friends, my Golden Retriever Lily and going to the beach.

My name is Heather Vodinelic and I reside in Powell with my husband Rob, our daughter Ella (19), our son Michael(15) and our dog Luca. I am a graduate of The Ohio State University and have nine years experience working with the 3-5 year old preschool age group. In my free time, I enjoy reading, gardening, and traveling. I am excited to join Powell United Methodist Church Preschool and look forward to meeting all the students and families in the classroom

My name is Megan Ward and this is my 8th year at PUMC preschool! My husband, Chuck, and I live in Delaware. We have 3 children who attend Olentangy Berlin High School and Ohio University! I love watching my kids sporting events (football, lacrosse and cheer)!

My name is Camille Bendick and this will be my 8th year of teaching Kindergarten Enrichment at PUMC. My husband Matt and I have lived in Powell for 14 years and have four children and two dogs. I enjoy traveling, writing children's picture books, doing triathlons, and reading.

My name is Kara Kivett. I have been with PUMC preschool for 19 years. I have had the pleasure of teaching every age group. Currently I am excited to be teaching Kindergarten Enrichment. My husband and I have lived in Powell for over 20 years where we raised our two children. In our free time, we really enjoy spending time engaging in outdoor activities with our children and dogs.
