We have loved our two years at PUMC! The teachers and staff are all so kind. We have seen such a positive change in our toddler – he has come out of his shell and loves going to school. Very thankful and we could not recommend it more!

PUMC Preschool is great, we have had nothing but positive experiences! The office staff and teachers are knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. Both of our kids loved each year they attended and I would recommend PUMC Preschool to anyone!

We couldn’t be happier with PUMC Preschool! It’s been an absolute delight watching our daughter come home every day sharing the exciting new things she learned. We loved the themed weeks and all of the hands-on play centered activities. The teachers have created such a dynamic and enriching learning environment!

Our son Dillon was in the 2 year playgroup this year, and we have loved being part of PUMC! It was his first out of home/school experience, and his teachers Mrs. K and Mrs. Silverman have been wonderful. They are patient, kind, nurturing, and very communicative. We have had a super positive experience and would recommend PUMC to any family!

My son participated in the 2’s playgroup this year and he has absolutely loved his time there! He has made many new friends, formed relationships with his teachers, and above all else learned so many new and wonderful things! He is so excited to go every week, and loves telling us all about his day! I love the open communication between teachers and parents, and the weekly photos sent to us showcasing their day. We could not be happier with our choice in sending him to PUMC, and look forward to returning next year!

PUMC preschool has been so fun for my kids! My outgoing 5 year old and my more introverted 2 year old have both always looked forward to each school day and are so excited to show me their work from that day. I highly recommend!

We have been a part of the PUMC preschool family for 2 years now and we have loved it! The teachers have been so kind and welcoming, and we have always felt at home there. Our son has learned a ton and I cannot believe all the fun activities they do each day. And the special music classes on top of everything else in the classroom, is a bonus. I love getting the weekly communications of what they are doing and learning, I really appreciate getting the glimpses into the classroom so that we can also ask him about it. We are planning to attend a third year, I highly recommend this program!

Our family has loved our experience with PUMC preschool this year! The teachers have been very nurturing, which was especially appreciated at the beginning of the school year, when our son was anxious about going to preschool for the first time. Having 4 children, we’ve experienced a few different preschools in the area. It was inportant to our family to find a preschool environment that not only helped support our child academically, but also created a very warm and nurturing environment.

My son LOVES his 2’s playgroup. Every morning, he asks if he’s going to the “Rainbow Room” and is so excited when Monday finally rolls around. The teachers do a wonderful job at providing enough structure so the kids feel comfortable while also encouraging free play. They even read books and sing songs during circle time. We’re so happy we chose PUMC.

We have used PUMC pre school for both of our kids and have absolutely loved their program. From ABC’s, to songs, crafting and socialization, we could not have asked for a better experience at an affordable cost. The teachers love our children like they are their own and they are so excited to go to school every week. I feel like this school has especially prepared my daughter for kindergarten and I am very grateful to all the staff! Would recommend this program to anyone with little kids.

Anytime I see people posting on social media recommending preschools for their kids, I always recommend PUMC!! My daughter has opened up and made new friends and the teachers are just amazing in using imagination and creativity in their teaching. I highly recommend PUMC!!

PUMC Preschool has been wonderful for our family. Our girls have been supported and loved by their teachers, and we have made close friendships with other families that we’ve maintained outside of the preschool environment. Both of our daughters have finished pre-k more than ready to start kindergarten as eager learners with valuable classroom experiences.

I have to say I love the teachers at PUMC. They care so much for the kids like they are theirs. My son Santino, loves getting up on Mondays to go play with his friends. It’s such a warm, welcoming place to send our kids.

PUMC preschool has been amazing. My daughter was very shy when the class began in September and by April she was singing in front of the class. She looks forward to school every day, and has learned so much in such a short amount of time from her wonderful teachers. I highly recommend this preschool.

My three year old joined PUMC in the middle of the school year, and had never been in a group setting with other children before. Her teachers and the staff at PUMC were very kind and patient with her (and me!) while she got used to being away from home. She absolutely loves going to preschool now and is thriving at PUMC!

The love and learning my children have experienced at PUMC Preschool is immeasurable. My oldest was beyond ready for kindergarten thanks in big part to her 4’s teachers. Currently I’ve never seen a large group of 3 year old boys be so engaged and excited about school and I will thoroughly miss the teddy bear room next year. We love the teachers and culture of the school and would recommend it to any parent looking for a part time preschool option.

Our daughter attended the 2 year old group during the 2023-2024 school year, and flourished! She loved her teachers so much, and the activities really kept her engaged. We loved to see the photos that were sent to us every day. She was always super excited to attend group!

We could not recommend PUMC Preschool more! Our daughter has been going there for the past 3 years and our son will be joining her next year. She has learned so much and comes home every day so excited to tell us all about the fun she had. And everyone there is so kind and helpful. When our daughter was diagnosed with a chronic disease, everyone at PUMC Preschool went out of their way to help us figure out how to keep her there and safe. We feel beyond grateful to have found PUMC Preschool!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Powell United Methodist Preschool. Both my children have gone through their preschool program. The kids love the kind teachers, fun activities, and the perfectly age appropriate learning. They come home singing songs they have learned, showing off new skills and surprising us with how much growth they have in their early education! We appreciate the teachers approach to meeting our kids where they are, and pushing them forward in kind, caring ways. Our oldest went into Kindergarten incredibly prepared and has excelled. Powell united Methodist preschool is an amazing introduction to school and we recommend them to everyone!

My son was not potty trained and when I found out he did not need to be to attend Powell United Methodist Preschool, that made my decision to send him here easier. Of course this was not the main reason I picked this PUMC preschool…I liked the ratio of teachers to students (2:12), all skills (science, math, reading) are taught as well as music from Miss Annie and other things like fire and police safety and water safety most recently. The teachers have been so diligent in sending weekly classroom updates with pictures of all the students in action in the classroom and outside during recess – my husband and I have enjoyed this greatly!! The administrative staff are amazing as well…answering questions with professionalism and opening the door with a cheerful smile. PUMC Preschool is a great program and I would recommend to your child/children for early learning!

We’ve had a wonderful experience at PUMC in our 2 years here! The teachers are so warm, kind, and caring and really make an effort to get to know every child. The programs are well-run with creative activities and my son has learned so much, both academically and socially. He looks forward to his “preschool days” every week!

Our daughter Eleanor has absolutely loved joining the Monday 2’s group for the 2023-2024 program. Eleanor came home beaming each Monday, talking about all of the wonderful things that they do in class such as reading, painting & playing outside. We have loved watching her come out of her shell and truly blossom during her time at PUMC. We are looking forward to another great year!

Our son previously stayed at home and the two day program through PUMC was a perfect transition to preschool. We can’t say enough great things about his teachers and school staff who assisted him through the year. We saw so much progress and growth during the school year. We look forward to another year with PUMC next year.

My family moved to Powell after school began and we were fortunate enough to have found Powell United Methodist Church. We were welcomed with open arms! I could not have pictured two teachers that were a better fit for my son. Their passion and love for these kids were evident from the moment we stepped into the classroom. The play based learning approach helped my son grow and get ready for what’s next! The communication I received was above and beyond and the “take home book” was something we will cherish forever.
